How the Example Works

The guide uses a family of four as the primary example:

• 2 adults 

• 2 children ages 3–9 (free Disney Dining Plan in 2026)

In this example, we maximize:

• 20 Adult Meal Credits (10 Sit Down Credits and 10 Quick Service Credits)

• 20 Child Meal Credits (10 Sit Down Credits and 10 Quick Service Credits)

• 20 Snack Credits

• Approximate out-of-pocket cost

• How that compares to Dining Plan credit value

Rather than listing every menu item, I highlight strategic picks and clearly mark which options were used in the example so you can adapt the approach to your own preferences.

Important Notes

• For sit down dining, you still tip out of pocket. However, I have included the tip in both the out of pocket and Disney Dining Plan comparison numbers so it still shows true savings

• Menus change, but the strategy stays relevant, even if you swap items

• You’ll still want to reference the My Disney Experience app for full menus

Does it include alcohol?
This version does not include alcohol. If you do add alcohol to your meals you will be beating the plan even more than in this guide!

What if my party size is different?
The example uses a family of four, but the credit strategy applies to any party size.

Does it list every menu item?
No. Menus change often. This guide focuses on strategy and high-value choices, not full menus.

How do I receive it?
